Eminent System Options64 Voice Library The Eminent Voice Library is a sort of built-in lending library from which any of 64 stops can be selected for adding to the basic specifications of Eminent organs. It is available as an option. On all models equipped with the library, places have been set aside for the stops to be borrowed from the library. These "reservations" are made using 2 stop tabs, ALT 1 and ALT 2 for each of the manuals and pedals. This means that each of the manuals and the pedals can be extended by 2 stops, each selected from 64 possibilities. Several of these will have the same name, but with different timbres. Example: A DCS 325 organ that normally has 27 stops, with a library, will now have a total of 33 stops with the 6 library stops being variable, to your choice of selection.
Recording Sequencer Eminent has designed a recording sequencer with a capability of recording up to 99 pieces of music, about 20 hours of playback and a recording factor of 200,000 notes. This feature can be divided into two parts. The first is a memory bank of pieces which have already been recorded and are available for playback at any time. This replay function is shown as FX, (fixed pieces) on the digital display. The second part of the sequencer is the facility to record and replay the organist's own pieces, which are played on your own organ, and it is this facility which in general will be used most. When using this facility the display will show PL, (play), or RC, (record).
Multi-channel Speaker System The realism of Eminent's sound production is partly due to the physical separation between C and C# chests, as is found in a typical symmetrical rank of organ pipes. As well, the distinction between the manuals and pedal sounds through multi-channel amplification and speaker systems, creates a pipe- like response. Multi-channel speaker systems can use from 5 to 32 independent channels of amplification. Speaker systems are built by us to Eminent's specifications and all systems are matched to the required environment. |
