Distinct Advantages
Real Time Generation of Pipe Sound Pipe sounds are not stored samples. The computer is actually producing the sound, live.
Voicing - Baroque and Romantic Eminent organs include two independent tonal dispositions in each organ. You can switch from either style (Baroque organ to a Romantic organ, or vice versa), at the push of a button. These are not merely cosmetic changes in the sound or colour of any given stop, these are completely independent, totally voiceable stops.
Flexibility With the Eminent Personal Edit System (standard in all organs DCS330 and up), we can voice the entire organ in both Baroque and Romantic settings. In essence, an organ with 27 stops will then have two distinct sounds per stop, one for the Baroque and one for the Romantic, or 54 sounds from 27 stops. This allows you to have both Chimes and Carillons. Chimes on the Baroque and when you press the Romantic button, you have Carillons.
As an option, the Eminent Voice Library, allows the addition of another 6 stops to the organ. The six stops can be selected from the 64 voice library to add two stops to the Swell, two to the Great, and two to the Pedal registration. These can be saved to Alterable Voice stops.
Also, as an option, a built-in Sequencer can be supplied. This unit is capable of recording and playing back up to 99 pieces of music, with 20 hours of storage.
Totally Independent Voicing Each stop is voiceable through the entire compass of the stop. The hallmark of any pipe organ is its tonal success in the room. Eminent organs are no different.
Pipe-like Characteristics Pipe organs breathe air to produce notes. This gives them distinctive variances within their sound. Eminent has developed software which controls:
Wind Robbing - air variance within pipes which changes the sound slightly
Pipe Noice - breath sound created as sound is developed in pipes
Reverberation – a digital system that creates a stunning environment
The above systems are controlled from the keyboard
